1. Scope and who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how REV EV, also trading as REV Electric Vehicles ("REV EV," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit www.rev-ev.co, submit a contact form, or communicate with us by phone, text, or email.

By using our site or contacting us, you agree to this Policy. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to answer your inquiry and sell and deliver a vehicle.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, or health information through this website. If a financing process ever requires such information, it will be collected separately, with notice, through a secure process — not through this site's contact form.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• respond to your inquiry and provide pricing, availability, and delivery information;
• contact you using the method you selected — phone call, text message, or email;
• process, arrange, and support a vehicle purchase and its delivery;
• provide customer service, warranty, and after-sale support;
• send you promotional messages, but only if you separately and expressly opted in;
• maintain records of your communication preferences and consent, including any opt-out;
• detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse of our forms;
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. SMS consent and mobile information

Your phone number and your SMS opt-in status are treated as confidential. We do not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer mobile opt-in data or phone numbers to advertisers, data brokers, lead aggregators, affiliates, or any other third party for their own marketing use.

Consent is optional. Agreeing to receive marketing text messages is never a condition of submitting an inquiry or of purchasing any product or service from us. If you decline, we will still respond to your inquiry using the contact method you chose.

How to opt out. Reply STOP to any text message from us at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages. You may also opt out by calling (833) 767-3838 or emailing legal@rev-ev.co. Reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies.

We retain a record of your consent and of any opt-out for as long as required to demonstrate compliance with applicable messaging law, even after you opt out. Full program terms are in Section 6 of our Terms of Service.

5. When we share information

We share personal information only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers. Vendors who perform services for us under contract and may use the information only to provide those services — our website host, our form-processing provider (which transmits contact form submissions to us), our email and messaging providers, and our shipping and transport partners.
• Delivery and titling. Information necessary to transport, title, or register a vehicle you have purchased, shared with the carrier or relevant authority.
• Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property, or that of others.
• Business transfer. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to the acquirer honoring this Policy.

As stated in Section 4, mobile opt-in data and phone numbers are excluded from any sharing for marketing purposes in all cases.

6. We do not sell your personal information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months. We are not in the business of monetizing customer data — we sell vehicles.

7. Cookies and analytics

Our site uses only the cookies and local storage necessary for it to function correctly. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages are visited and how visitors arrive — in a form that does not identify you personally.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may not work as intended if you do. If we add advertising or third-party tracking technologies in the future, we will update this Policy first and provide any consent mechanism required by law.

8. How long we keep your information

We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterward in case you follow up. Purchase, warranty, and delivery records are kept as long as required for tax, accounting, warranty, and legal purposes. Records of SMS consent and opt-out are kept as long as necessary to demonstrate compliance with messaging law. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

9. Security

Our site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are transmitted encrypted. We limit access to personal information to people who need it to do their jobs, and we require our service providers to protect it by contract. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

10. Your privacy rights and choices

Regardless of where you live, you may ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct information that is inaccurate;
• delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law;
• stop contacting you, or change how we contact you;
• opt out of text messages (reply STOP) or marketing email (use the unsubscribe link).

To make a request, call or text (833) 767-3838 or email legal@rev-ev.co. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

11. State-specific privacy rights

Residents of certain states — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia, Utah, and others with comprehensive privacy laws — have additional rights, which may include the rights to know, access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy of, and limit use of their personal information, and to opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or profiling. As stated above, we do not sell personal information, do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and do not use it for profiling.

California residents may also request details about the categories of personal information collected, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom it is shared — all of which are described in Sections 2, 3, and 5 of this Policy. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

If we decline a request, we will explain why, and you may appeal by replying to our response. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 15.

12. Children's privacy

Our site and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it promptly.

13. Do Not Track

Because there is no common industry standard for interpreting Do Not Track browser signals, our site does not currently respond to them differently. We do not track visitors across other websites for advertising purposes in any case.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy as our practices or the law change. We will revise the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will provide additional notice where required. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
